It could not be easier to integrate and get going with Brief AI. The only setup process you need to go through it to allow it to access your cloud calendar.
The Virtual Assistant will then know whether and when to join a certain meeting in order to:
Capture the meeting content (audio & video),
Transcribe the conversation (in real time or at the end of the meeting), and
Process the content to automate your tasks.
Launching Brief AI Virtual Assistant Automatically via Calendar Integration

The first time a user signs into Brief AI using SSO with Google or Microsoft credentials, Brief AI will ask for calendar access. This allows Brief AI keep track of the user’s upcoming virtual events and join as a participant at the time of event.
By default, Brief AI Virtual Assistant will automatically join all events that contain a meeting link of a supported conferencing platform. This behaviour can be modified by users; please see Virtual Assistant for instructions.
During the Meeting
The Virtual Assistant captures and transcribes meetings in real time, and makes it accessible to users and meeting participants.
Sharing Parts of Speech
Specific parts of speech can be shared with third parties.
Select relevant meeting → Click “Meeting” tab → Drag and select part of speech to be shared → Click copy icon in the pop-up options
Not only the text will be copied to the clipboard, but also:
The name of the meeting
The date
The speaker name
The link to the exact position of this text in Brief AI transcription

Disconnecting Virtual Assistant
The Virtual Assistant can be disconnected via the following ways:
Disconnect button from Dashboard
Disconnect link sent by Virtual Assistant in the meeting chat (if configured)
Disconnect Virtual Assistant through meeting provider
Ending the meeting
Off-the-record mode
If you wish for the assistant to leave the temporarily, you can use off-the-record mode. Once activated, the assistant will leave the meeting within a few seconds. Press the play button for the assistant to rejoin and resume recording.
Reviewing Past Meeting Contents
Past meetings can be accessed through Brief AI My meetings tab. To access, either:
Select “My meetings” tab
Or, search for keywords using Search
Search Filtering
Refer to Search for more details on searching past meetings
If search through the past content is used, the user can also filter the result by organisation, participant, speaker, highlight and date, using the dropdown boxes below the search box.
